Players traveling across Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom have much to uncover. From useful Echoes to yummy treats and helpful accessories, players can expect to discover several hidden treasures that make their journey exciting and easier. Echoes can help solve puzzles, reach new places, and fight monsters. Treats like berries and eggs can replenish Princess Zelda’s health, apply elemental effects, or be made into smoothies. Accessories can add to Princess Zelda’s strength and durability, keeping her well-protected.
There are 28 accessories to find with various effects. Some accessories are bought, some are hidden and must be found, and others are rewarded to Princess Zelda for completing certain quests. Though not mandatory, all 28 accessories can be helpful to Princess Zelda on her quest to save her father and all of Hyrule, so players should be on the lookout. One useful accessory is the Gold Sash.
How To Get The Gold Sash Accessory
Complete The Wild Sandstorms Side Quest In Gerudo Town
In Echoes of Wisdom, many machines and enemies blow out strong winds. These winds can knock Princess Zelda in the air and off platforms. Luckily, the Gold Sash can protect Princess Zelda from these adverse winds and keep her on her feet.
Unfortunately, the Gold Sash is one of the harder accessories to obtain. The Gold Sash is obtained in Echoes of Wisdom‘s Gerudo Desert, but not without finishing a few tasks. First, Princess Zelda must beat the two Lanmolas in the Oasis. The first appears northwest of the Oasis, while the second seems to the east. The Lanmolas are easily identified by sand piles that throw sand into the air. As shown in the No-Nonsense Guide‘s video, use Tri’s bind to pull them out of the sand. Kill both to unlock the “Wild Sandstorms” side quest.
Once you’ve finished with the two Lanmolas, head back to Gerudo Town. Speak to the guard on the west, inside the Gerudo Palace Barracks. She’ll be saying, “Down with the Lanmola!” Speaking to her will give you the “Wild Sandstorms” side quest. Princess Zelda will have to go against another Lanmola during this Echoes of Wisdom side quest.

Description |
A remarkably strong Lanmola appeared in the Gerudo Desert. Gerudo soldiers are competing to see who will defeat the Lanmola first. |
After speaking to the guard and hearing about the appearance of another Lanmola, you’ll be ready to go. The Lanmola won’t be marked on your map, but head north of Gerudo Town. Enter the sandy part of the Gerudo Desert. The map will be blinded due to the sandstorm, but follow the storm. You’ll know you’re heading in the right way if the storm is worsening.
Before heading out, stock up on
some of th best smoothies
to replenish your hearts. This Lanmola won’t be as easy as the last two.
Equip your Gerudo Sandals, as you’ll fight the Lanmola in quicksand with no nearby sand patches to escape. Since the fight takes place in the quicksand, choose your best Echoes. The Sand Piranha Echo should work. You can also summon a few Keese or Crows.
Much like the previous two Lanmola’s, use Tri’s bind to grab onto its tail and pull it out of the sand. Once exposed, your Echoes can begin attacking the monster. To make it quicker, transform it into your Swordfighter form and slash it with your sword. The Lanmola is more aggressive, throwing rocks much faster than the others. Avoid them as best as you can.

Not every side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom offers great rewards, but the ones that do definitely shouldn’t be missed for long.
Sand monsters will appear around you and the Lanmola as you’re fighting. Use your Echoes to keep them away. Continue pulling the Lanmola out and attacking it, leaving your Echoes to care for any other monsters coming at you. Once you’ve beaten the Lanmola, it will drop a Heart Piece and some Rupees. Collect them all, then head back to the barracks in Gerudo Town.
Talk to the soldiers there. They will be surprised that you were able to beat the Lanmola. Lady Facette comes in and rewards you with the Gold Sash after learning about your victory.
How To Use The Gold Slash
Keep Your Feet On The Ground In Windy Situations
Using the Gold Sash in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is easy enough. All you have to do is equip it in your menu. Then, travel to any windy area or approach any wind-blowing monster, and the effects will be countered. Princess Zelda will no longer be pushed around by strong winds, which is especially helpful in situations involving platforms. Though this accessory isn’t useful in most situations, you’ll be glad you have it on when dealing with wind.
