The National Consumer Tribunal will be closing for the end of the year. This will impact on debt review consent orders.

Dates

The National Consumer Tribunal (NCT) assist consumers in debt review where all their credit providers decide to take action to avoid them actually becoming over indebted by making voluntary agreements that can be ratified by the NCT as consent orders.

The NCT will be closing at 12 noon, on the 23rd of December 2022.

They will remain closed until the 3rd of January 2023.

Online

Debt Counsellors may be able to upload certain documents to the NCT’s online system during the end of year break but these will only be actioned once the NCT reopen in 2023.
