In the expanding world of proprietary trading firms, finding one that aligns with your needs is crucial. The best of these firms provide access to substantial capital along with the necessary support and education to help traders thrive. However, there are firms out there that seem more focused on extracting fees from their partners for minor infractions, leading to failed evaluations and suspended accounts.

STOP: Your Prop Firm Search Is Over
As an unexperienced trader with some skills, they took me in and coached me to be the best version of myself. Can’t recommend them enough. They understand just how difficult it is and really work WITH you to help reach your goals.

The battle is within.
Trading is 99% psychological which is why Maverick not only teaches you how to build a successful system but also provides you with mentors and coaches to ensure you are successful. They are also the most flexible, transparent, and patient prop firm out there. Most prop firms make there money on tryout fees, Maverick makes there’s by producing successful traders.

Single Dad
As a single dad, I was looking for a way to fund my kids’ college funds. I’ve used the techniques I learned at Maverick to grow their Coverdells and my oldest is attending NC State without student loans. This last year I started using their strategies to hedge the market risk for my crops. Being at Maverick has allowed me to rent out several of my fields so I can spend more time with my kids at a very important time.

Trading is harder than it looks
Trading is harder than it looks. They are very patient in working with me but I am still having problems with sizing my positions correctly and managing the risk. I trust my gut more than a concrete plan and I’m sure they’ll see it my way when I get a big winner.

In my opinion, this trader hasn’t completely changed his mindset as needed. He says trading is hard, but then in the same breath says they will see it my way. If you are a trader that thinks they know enough about trading already, maybe prop trading isn’t right for you. When partnering with a prop trading firm, you will need to abide by the rules they put in place to mitigate risk.

Come here first
I wish I’d found Maverick Trading sooner. I spent over $20k learning to trade at another place and didn’t get a fraction of the support I get now at Maverick. You’re trading their capital, so they are extremely interested in having you trade the right way, meaning a step by step process and constantly managing the risk. I was a little bent out of shape when I wanted to try a new strategy and they made me show how I was going to manage the change in risk, but that process actually uncovered some holes in my strategy and they worked with me to fix my methods and actually decrease the risk I was taking.

This critical Maverick Currencies review points out an interesting point that is the same for most prop firms, you won’t have 100% autonomy over the trading strategies you will use. They will have to fit into the parameters the prop firm has established.
