Dreamer Finds Out About Waller's Neck Bombs DC

With no other option, Dreamer finally complies and continues to work for Waller.

Waller is Now Planting Bombs in Innocent People’s Heads

Waller Justifies Her Plan to Dreamer DC

Dreamer had no choice but to start working for Amanda Waller after she saw the precog hero saving the day during “Beast World”. Waller recruited Nia by threatening to expose Parthas, a secret community of aliens and Dreamer’s hometown. Dreamer agreed to take on missions for Waller, but she quit when she had a vision of the horrifying future Waller was attempting to usher in. After Dreamer ran, Waller doxxed Parthas, exposing its civilians to anti-alien extremists. Nia stopped the bigots but found out there was no limit to what Waller would do to keep Dreamer in line.

The idea behind Waller’s bombs is simple: Fall in line and don’t cross her or boom. However, she can’t risk doing that with an asset as valuable as Dreamer. Waller needs Nia’s ability to see into the future as Waller attempts to bring the world under her heel in Absolute Power. So what’s the next best step? Putting the lives of people Dreamer cares about. Waller is well aware that Nia wants to kill her, but by putting bombs in Dreamer’s loved ones, Waller is both ensuring Nia’s compliance and making sure that Dreamer won’t even think about killing Waller.

Waller Will Sink to Any Lows to Get What She Wants

Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad DC

This kind of behavior shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans who know anything about Waller. She never takes half-measures and will do anything to get her assets under control. It’s an awful situation, but one that’s finally gotten Waller’s most powerful Suicide Squad member to fall in line. Nia hates Waller, but she loves her family more and isn’t going to risk their lives by killing Amanda. The traditional neck bomb method might be effective, but this new application has put the latest addition to the Suicide Squad between a rock and a hard place.
