10 Bad Lana Twist
She’s Changing The Game
The biggest and most important twist from Too Hot To Handle season 6 is the introduction of Bad Lana. Shaped exactly like the original Lana but with black and red colors, Bad Lana speaks in a sultry American accent and encourages contestants to give in to their basest, naughtiest impulses. For the first time, cast members were made aware of what show they were choosing to participate in. However, Bad Lana allowed and even baited contestants to act on their physical desires upon arrival.
Lana is the white and purple cone that spies on the contestants and encourages them to behave appropriately, and Bad Lana is her foil.
Bad Lana’s goading could add an interesting layer to the show, making it more difficult to resist her suggestions and bad decision-making. Cast members have already spent too much money spying on each other and kissing when it isn’t allowed. The introduction of Bad Lana is singlehandedly the most shocking twist of Too Hot To Handle season 6.
9 Lana Kicked Out Two Cast Members On Day 1
She’s Not Playing Around This Season
Due to the introduction of Bad Lana, the stalwart, good-girl Lana is not playing around. She banished two contestants on the first day, showing how seriously she takes maintaining order in the retreat. After giving in to Bad Lana’s suggestions, contestants Charlie and Bri Balram were banished for 24 hours as opposed to being sent home. The pair were made to don olive green jumpsuits evocative of prison clothes while sleeping in uncomfortable bunk beds. Additionally, the banished contestants were given nothing to do except count paperclips, which certainly quelled their desires.
Introducing banishment as a punishment raises the stakes for the rule-breaking contestants in the house.
The banishment got interesting when Bad Lana appeared, offering Bri and Charlie the opportunity to spy on Lucy and Demari Davis, their respective interests. Both chose to spend $5000 to spy on their crushes, neither of whom matched with the hot newbies introduced to the retreat. The group was shocked when they found out money had been spent spying on them rather than secret kisses in the house.
8 Lana Holds Contestants Hostage
Banishment Is A Wild Punishment
Banishing contestants who don’t follow Lana’s rules rather than sending them home is an absolutely wild punishment. Lana usually waited until a cast member showed no signs of remorse or change to send them home, giving the naughty housemate plenty of chances. With the introduction of Bad Lana, the original British robot isn’t holding back. Instead of sending misbehaving cast members home, Lana can simply banish contestants for as long as she’d like.
Charlie and Bri were banished for 24 hours, but Lana has already used the banishment space for shorter-term stays as well. Bri was back for her second trip as Louis waited impatiently alongside her for their partners’ nail-biting dates with newcomers. Perhaps this room will give contestants pause when they risk breaking Lana’s rules for a fleeting moment of pleasure. However, Too Hot To Handle cast members haven’t shown much restraint in the past.
7 Flavia And Louis Are Back
Have They Learned Their Lesson?
For the first time, Too Hot To Handle has invited back two former cast members to the retreat. Too Hot To Handle season 5’s Louis may have spent his season all over Perfect Match season 2 winner Christine Obanor, but he seems to have forgotten the 6’1″ goddess in the time since the previous season. Additionally, Peruvian temptress Flavia Laos Urbina returned to the retreat, vowing to change her promiscuous ways. While Charlie and Bri rotted in banishment, Flavia and Louis flirted their way through the villa.
Flavia initially chose to get to know surfer boy Jordan Frank, but their date was cringeworthy at best. Louis had better luck with model Katherine, where sparks flew nearly immediately. Unfortunately, Flavia and Louis haven’t set an example for the rest of the cast, but they did provide entertainment.
6 Banished Contestants Can Spend Money To Spy
There Are More Opportunities To Lose Money
Banishment and Bad Lana may be the most shocking twists in Too Hot To Handle season 6, but putting the two together has the most game-changing potential. As Charlie and Bri rotted away in their 24-hour banishment, which might as well be a month in Too Hot To Handle time, Bad Lana was already scheming. She offered the desperate Charlie and Bri the chance to spy on Louis’ interaction with Lucy and Demari’s conversation with Flavia. While both were flirty with the Too Hot To Handle newcomers, both stayed true to their partners. Bad Lana wasted the house’s money.
The opportunity to spy gives contestants another way to spend money. While fear of banishment or elimination might make some cast members think twice about kissing their crush, spying is a way to ensure the Too Hot To Handle cast still falters. It’s an exciting twist that fits well with the introduction of Bad Lana.
5 The First Challenge Got A Little Freaky
The Cast Was Out Of Control
Too Hot To Handle isn’t all about hot singles resisting each others’ charms while ingesting plenty of booze. Throughout all the seasons, so-called “experts” have come in to teach the contestants about loving themselves and building connections beyond the physical. Challenges have ranged from couples’ yoga to body painting negative connotations on their bodies to changing the cast members’ outlook on life and themselves.
However, the first challenge in Too Hot To Handle season 6 may have been the most shocking yet. Couples were asked to reach climax with each other’s energies and without physically touching their partner. The “expert” demonstrated with plenty of loud moans as the contestants looked on with giggly disbelief. In the past, challenges have felt like filler, but this one might be the most ridiculous yet. It definitely set the tone for the rest of the retreat.
4 A Cast Member Already Left The Retreat
He Couldn’t Get Over Flavia
Shockingly, a contestant already chose to leave the retreat, a testament to the emotional rollercoaster of Too Hot To Handle season 6’s twists. After his date with Flavia, Jordan was on cloud nine. However, it was clear that Flavia wasn’t feeling Jordan and wanted to explore her options. Despite refusing to share a bed with him, Jordan still didn’t take the hint. He was hurt when Flavia shared chemistry with 22-year-old Joao Coronel from Brazil, feeling blindsided. After a conversation with Flavia, Jordan couldn’t bear to stay in the retreat any longer.

Jordan seems like a man who is used to getting what he wants. He couldn’t handle rejection, and despite Flavia’s guilt, she didn’t owe him anything. While it’s surprising that Jordan left so soon, the show will be better without a guy feeling sorry for himself.
3 Two Cast Members Got Sent To The Private Suite
Lana Is Testing Contestants Left And Right
After hitting it off with Katherine, Louis couldn’t keep his hands off the gorgeous model. The two shared many passionate kisses that resulted in thousands of dollars from the prize fund lost. While Lana made it sound like she would eliminate the naughty contestants, she added a shocking twist. Evocative of his trip to the private suite with Christine last season, Lana sent Katherine and Louis to the private suite for the night. Lana didn’t share with the cast her intentions to eliminate Louis if he gave in to his physical impulses.
However, there was another twist. Bad Lana was ready to greet Katherine and Louis in the private suite, where she offered them a happy hour menu of physical delights. As usual, the overnight happenings were kept a secret, and the cast dubiously waited in suspense. However, Louis and Katherine couldn’t remain chaste for a night, allowing for Louis’ continued development in the retreat.
2 Cast Members Got Banished While Their Partner Went On A Date
Lana Shows No Mercy
Charlie and Bri were originally banished for misbehaving, but Lana proved that cast members can be banished for other reasons. After Louis and Katherine’s success in the private suite, Lana introduced two new cast members to the retreat. The hotties got to choose their date based on cast photos. Newcomer Valentina chose to go on a date with Demari, whereas Cristian met with Katherine. Instead of waiting impatiently in the villa like the rest of the cast, partners Bri and Louis were sent to banishment for the duration of the date.
Bri wasn’t too pleased to spend another few hours in banishment, but it only got worse when Demari chose to extend his date with Valentina rather than let Bri out of the space. Katherine made the same choice but eventually went back to Louis, allowing him back into the villa. Demari could be in big trouble after waffling between Bri and Valentina, forcing her to remain in banishment.
1 Cast Members Are Already Ditching Their Original Match
Demari And Bri Might Be Over
While it’s early in the game, cast members are already ditching their original partners. It seems like Katherine and Louis will go the distance, with her date with Cristian barely surpassing lukewarm. However, Demari and Valentina kissed, and the heartbreaker might shockingly leave Bri for the newcomer. Episode 4 left viewers on a cliffhanger, with Demari’s actions remaining unclear. Regardless of what transpires, he’s sure to receive Bri’s anger. She’s not happy about getting banished twice.
Between Bad Lana and the banishment twist, Too Hot To Handle season 6 is shaping up to be a wild ride. The contestants are just as physically charged as in previous seasons, but Lana is cracking down on their misbehavior. The differences in season 6 were exactly what Too Hot To Handle needed.
