90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Angela Deem is revealing why she’s “ashamed” of the United States of America while she seeks an end to her marriage to Michael Ilesanmi. Angela is attempting to get her marriage with Michael annulled, but she’s not done harassing him yet. Angela wants Michael to be thrown out of the country. She’s trying her best so that Michael goes back to Nigeria. Angela had fought for years for Michael to get a visa. However, the tables have turned due to Angela’s own doing. Angela drove Michael to literally disappear and move to Texas.
Angela Deem didn’t want to believe that Michael Ilesanmi had left her house in February 2024. She hoped that he was
“missing
” and would come back to her.
Michael not only confirmed he had escaped Angela because he didn’t feel safe around her, but he also didn’t want Angela to know with whom he was living now. Angela (via Shabooty) is extra furious that Michael has managed to convince the fans he was never a scammer and has successfully raised more than enough funds to fight Angela in court.
She recorded a video standing inside a bathroom and asked her TikTok followers, “Oh my God, did you see? Michael made his goal!” Angela added, “What is wrong with the United States of America?” and said that she was feeling “totally ashamed.”

Angela Deem Congratulates Michael Ilesanmi After Fundraiser Success
Angela Slams Cynthia Decker In the Video For No Reason
Angela asked why Michael had raised $25,000 through GoFundMe for his legal fees when there are people out there who need to go visit their sick children or veterans who “don’t even get $25,000.” Angela asked America to “Wake up!” She added that whatever was happening was “unacceptable.” Angela also mentioned Cynthia Decker during the video who is at the risk of losing her house and is raising funds through a GoFundMe of her own to cover her living expenses. Cynthia has not even been able to raise half of her target so far compared to Michael.
Angela probably wanted to make Cynthia feel bad since it appears both Michael and Cynthia’s fundraisers have been organized by the same media team.
She reminded Cynthia that she wasn’t able to save her house when her “good friend” managed to get Michael $25,000. She sarcastically thanked the media team because they had supposedly forgotten to tell Michael that there are “taxes on that.” She proceeded to congratulate Michael after attempting to scare him. “$25,000. Congratulations, Michael, you’re gonna need it,” she added with an evil smile. Angela asked America to “wake up” in her caption and said that, after her, Michael had successfully managed to scam an entire nation.
Angela is feeling bad that the world has turned against her and is supporting Michael.
Initially, some viewers sympathized with Angela, who was an elderly woman that Michael had used to get a green card. However, Angela’s own attorney proved that Michael was not a cheat or a scammer. Angela is going to have a hard time proving that Michael indeed fraudulently coaxed her into getting married so he could get U.S. permanent legal status. With Michael now having enough money, it’s also certain he’s going to get the best legal help possible to fight her.
