Hunter X Hunter fans won’t have to wait anymore, as the legendary adventure manga has been confirmed to make its return in the pages of Shonen Jump. This exciting news comes after Yoshihiro Togashi shared that his health is improving, which is just as good news as the series’ return.
During a Shonen Jump livestream, it was confirmed by the publishers that the manga would be returning after 2 years of an indefinite hiatus. The cover for volume 38 was also revealed, as well as the ending of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
As confirmed by the official Jump account, Hunter X Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi will be returning with new chapters on October 7, 2024, in Weekly Shonen Jump issue #45.

Hunter X Hunter Will Continue With The Political Thriller Arc
The series will continue with chapter #401, with members of the Phantom Troupe looking for a transmitter aboard the ship. So far, on Togashi’s account, he was nearing completion of ten chapters and proceeding at a good pace, and he is now working on chapter #416. It is unknown whether the manga will be serialized weekly, but it is very likely that Hunter X Hunter will be proceeding with batch releases, as it is easier on Togashi’s health.
