Following the aftermath of one of the best battles of the series yet, episode #8 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will see Natsu and the rest encounter the Fairy Tail guild’s surprising counterparts on Guiltina as they prepare to embark on the next leg of their impossible new quest.
With the Water God Dragon defeated, Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of their team now set out in search of the remaining four God Dragons, but find themselves confronted with an odd doppelganger of their beloved guild.

Episode #8 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be released on Crunchyroll and Netflix on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST), which is 5:00 a.m. Eastern Time (EDT), 4:00 a.m. Central Time (CDT), and 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PDT). For fans of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest in the UK, the episode will be released at 10:00 a.m. British Summer Time (BST).
As for the dub, the English dubbed version of episode #1 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest was released on July 21, 2024. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly, thus fans can expect the English dubbed version of episode #8 to release on September 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT), 4:00 p.m. Central Time (CDT), and 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PDT), and 10:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST).
What Happened In Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #7?
Episode #7 Wraps Up The First Leg of the Adventure at Ermina
Episode #7 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest begins by delving into the aftermath of the battle against Mercphobia as the citizens of Ermina gradually begin rebuilding the town. Natsu who is overlooking the town from nearby with Happy, reveals that he doesn’t remember much of what happened after he ate Ignia’s flames. Lucy scolds Natsu for not being more careful and reveals that she burned her chest trying to stop him from going on a rampage. Nonetheless Natsu thanks Lucy for stopping him and apologizes to her for injuring her.
Meanwhile, Gray explains to the citizens of Ermina that they were originally humans turned into fish by Mercphobia to help them survive the rising sea levels as he lost control of his power. The citizens continue to idolize the Water Gid Dragon regardless and appear greatly saddened by his death when Karameel and Mercphobia make an appearance.
Mercphobia reveals that he has lost all his magic power and declares his intentions to live among the citizens of Ermina as a human. Back at Magia Dragon, Elefseria notices that Mercphobia has been sealed and begins to believe that Natsu and the rest of the Fairy Tail wizards might just be the ones to complete the impossible 100-year quest.
The episode then cuts to the Diabolos guild where fans are introduced to its guild master, Georg Reizen who is receiving a report the Fairy Tail wizards and the Dragon Eaters’ tussle with Natsu and the rest at Ermina. Back in Ishgar, Sting, Rogue, Tsukino, Angel, Lector, amd Frosch visit the Fairy Tail guild, only to find it completely abandoned with not a member in sight. At the same time, Touka, or rather the White Mage, is seen on a ship seemingly headed towards Natsu and the rest.
Back in Guiltina, Mercphobia tells Natsu and friends about the rest of the God Dragons and their names and advises them on how to proceed with the next leg of their journey, revealing that he doesn’t know much about the other God Dragons. Thus, Natsu and the rest embark on the next leg of the journey, stopping first at Tekka, where they plan to take a train to Drasil, the largest city in Guiltina. In Tekka, Erza gets mistaken for someone else named Elkis, revealed to be Erza’s doppelgänger, who then leads the group to her guild named Fairy Nail.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #8 Will Introduce the Fairy Tail Guild’s Strange New Counterpart
Epiosde #8 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will likely follow Natsu and the rest as they meet their lookalikes on Guiltina. The mysterious Fairy Nail guild is sure to be full of members just as quirky as those back home in Fairy Tail and the episode overall promises plenty of fun and classic shenanigans involving these counterparts much like the Edolas Arc.
The episode will also likely delve into Gray and Juvia’s relationship as Gray encounters Juvia’s doppelganger at Fairy Nail, forcing him to reflect on his feelings for for the Water Mage. All in all, the upcoming episode of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is set to be a fun, entertaining respite before the series returns to the inrigue surrounding the God Dragons.
