Big Brother 26’s Chelsie Baham Reveals Who She Would’ve Voted For If Makensy Had Betrayed Her (SPOILERS)

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 26!Big Brother 26 winner Chelsie Baham revealed that she would’ve remained loyal to Makensy Manbeck and voted for her to win, even if Makensy had betrayed her and taken Cam Sullivan-Brown to the final two with her instead of Chelsie. During the Big Brother 26 finale, Chelsie, who’d won Part 1 of the final Head of Household (HOH) competition, went head to head with Makensy, who’d won Part 2, to determine the winner of Part 3. Makensy won and decided to bring Chelsie to the end with her. Then, Chelsie won Big Brother 26 with a unanimous vote.




In an interview with EW, Chelsie revealed that, even if Makensy had betrayed her and taken Cam to the end, she still would’ve had her vote. She said, “I would’ve voted for Makensy to win.” Chelsie explained, “Because we carried Cam this whole game! What you mean? This girl played a hell of a game. She deserved to walk away with some money, and if it wasn’t me, she deserved to win. So I was going to vote for her regardless. If I wasn’t sitting next to her, she was getting my vote.”

Chelsie & Makensy Respected Each Other

Chelsie and Makensy’s loyalty to each other during Big Brother 26 proves how much respect they had for each other. Even though Makensy could’ve easily beaten Cam in the end, she chose to keep her word to Chelsie and take her to the final two. It would’ve been hard to watch Chelsie become the last member of the jury, while Cam would’ve gone home with $75,000. Although he’s a great person, he didn’t play Big Brother at the level that Chelsie and Makensy did. They deserved to be in the final two chairs more than anyone else this season.

Our Take On Chelsie & Makensy Remaining Loyal To Each Other

Makensy’s Choice Was Reminiscent Of Cody Calafiore


While it was respectable and admirable of Makensy to choose Chelsie over Cam, it was reminiscent of Cody Calafiore’s choice to stay loyal to his Hitmen alliance member Derrick Levasseur during Big Brother 16. Cody could’ve easily beaten Victoria Rafaeli, but he kept his word to Derrick, and lost the game. Makensy has been compared to Cody in a negative way because fans feel that she handed Chelsie the money. However, her integrity was more important to her, so she made the right decision.

If Chelsie had won the final HOH and chosen to stay loyal to Makensy, she obviously had a much better chance of winning against her. It wouldn’t have been as risky as Makensy choosing Chelsie, but she still would’ve had an easier time winning against Cam. It’s also fantastic to hear that Chelsie would’ve voted for Makensy, even if she had betrayed her. She knew that Makensy deserved to win more than Cam did. These two women proved that being loyal is important in Big Brother, and it was inspiring to watch them support each other throughout the game.

Big Brother 26 was an unpredictable and wild ride up until the very end. It was wonderful to see two women in the final two, especially since they’d dominated the second half of the game. It was also nice to see two people who really deserved the money make it to the end, rather than a strong player and someone who was carried there. Chelsie and Makensy should be very proud of everything they stood for and accomplished in Big Brother 26.
