The Mandalorian & Grogu, the next Star Wars movie, has wrapped filming and is on track for a May 2026 release. Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and his delightful ward brought Star Wars to Disney+ back in 2019, and the duo is leading the charge back to theaters with The Mandalorian & Grogu. Production on Star Wars‘ next movie officially began in July this year, with relatively few leaks or set photos due to use of the Volume.

The latest report from Puck News reveals that production of The Mandalorian & Grogu has wrapped. It means the movie is on track for a release date of May 22, 2026, given this is plenty of time for post-production. Filming has evidently run smoothly, with no issues, a testament to director Jon Favreau’s skill.
