I’m Sure Joan Will Break Chock’s Heart (It’s Not Always The Man Who’s The Heartbreaker) SPOILERS

This article contains possible The Golden Bachelorette SPOILERS.The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos seems like a sincere and classy woman, but Chock Chapple should beware, as I’m convinced that she’s a heart-breaker in disguise. Joan isn’t a mean woman, but during her journey on the show, she’s occasionally been hesitant, unsure of which direction to go in. Doubts have definitely crept in. If she offers Chock her golden rose (the final rose), she may end up regretting her decision. There are good reasons why I think she might hurt him in the end.

As The Golden Bachelorette season 1’s shining star, Joan’s had some interesting suitors to choose from. One was The Bachelor season 28 alum Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark Anderson, who seems like a very sweet man. Clearly, she didn’t feel a spark as she eliminated him. Joan was looking for something different. When she got closer to Chock, it seemed like he was a good option for her, but there were red flags. According to Reality Steve, Joan does offer Chock her final rose. However, that doesn’t mean that they’re a “forever” match.

Chock May Be Too Controlling For Joan

She Might Get Tired Of It

Chock’s a can-do kind of guy. He’s used to convincing people to buy insurance. He brings the same “alpha male” energy to his romance with Joan. He pushes hard – that’s just his way. For example, during the group bowling date, he sat very close to Joan, just like a real partner would do. He seemed to be trying to reinforce the idea that he was her boyfriend, rather than another suitor. Joan likes him, so his proximity was not a problem. In fact, it may have comforted her.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

In the future, though, what seemed so romantic at first might become annoying. Some The Golden Bachelorette fans on Reddit complained about Chock’s penchant for control on a thread started by sunflowerawe – they don’t like the way he tries to sell himself to Joan. Maybe she’ll agree with those social media users someday. If he continues to dominate the relationship, it could end in tears. He might try too hard because he’s so emotionally invested. If that’s the case, he might be destined for heartbreak. One critic shaded him, saying the “controlling” man was:

insufferably desperate.

I think Chock has it together. He might not be my type (I prefer the cuddlier Mark), but there is plenty to impress. He’s someone who seems confident – he’s used to running things. He appears to be a dependable man who’s well-dressed and devoted to his family. He even cooks on Instagram. The ardent suitor Chock recently shared his Chock-O-Noodle soup recipe with his fans, and it was a charming, down-to-earth moment. Chock also seems successful – he’s rumored to be wealthy.

These pluses may be enough to keep them together, but life doesn’t always go as planned. Chock lost his fiancée after a nine-year engagement. She died and it was tragic. It’s possible that Chock wants a partner so badly that he will make mistakes. He might be more possessive than he should be.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist weren’t meant to be. However, before their The Golden Bachelor wedding, they seemed like a “true love” match. The issue is that people are different when the cameras aren’t rolling. Life goes back to normal – it can be mundane at times, or stressful. There isn’t a layer of stardust over everything, giving it a theatrical and romantic quality.

Reality TV puts pressure on contestants, making is so hard for them to really be themselves. A person can’t find a true match unless they’re willing to be vulnerable. They need to be honest about who they are. Sure, everyone tries their best during the initial stages of dating but more is required to determine whether someone’s really a viable candidate for marriage… a lot more. It’s only when the superficial things are stripped away that a person really knows who they are dealing with. Chock and Joan haven’t gotten to this point.

Later on, if they stay together, they’ll begin to adjust their perceptions based on who they are offscreen. They’ll get to know each other in a deeper way. That could be a bad thing – it was for Gerry and Theresa. Their relationship didn’t survive the seismic shift from glitzy TV couple to real-life duo.

Love can happen even when it begins on television, but people probably won’t be surprised if Joan and Chock break up, especially if they followed Gerry and Theresa after The Golden Bachelor. Relationships aren’t easy for anyone, and the pressures of living a normal life together while still being famous will add so many complications.

Once the spectacle of a reality dating series is just a memory, people must interact as normal human beings (whatever that means). That’s when the trouble usually starts. If Joan decides that her rumored pick Chock isn’t the man of her dreams, I think she’ll become a very different woman. If that happens, The Golden Bachelorette‘s Chock may not know what hit him. Facing reality could break his heart, but hopefully, he’s strong enough to handle a split that will get so much press.
