As you may expect, the Ancestor Spirit resists Magic damage, so don’t expect many Sorceries to deal much damage to the boss.

Most of the time, the Ancestor Spirit will use its antlers and hooves to strike at your Tarnished, but now and then it will unleash a magical blue breath in a large AoE. This can be done from the ground or when the Spirit is flying through the air, so be prepared to sprint out of the way or keep your distance when this happens. Rolling and dodging at the right time will save your life against the beast’s direct physical attacks.

The Ancestor Spirit is weak to Fire and Holy damage, making some weapons more viable than others throughout this fight. Although you can imbue normal weapons with these elemental types, it may be better to use certain Incantations in Elden Ring that inflict Fire or Holy if your build supports them too.
