Amy’s second son, Glenn, was born in July 2022, and, in July 2024, 36-year-old Amy posted images of Glenn’s second birthday party to Instagram. Amy appears in several of the photos, looking visibly thinner than ever in her simple black tank top. Though black seems like an odd choice for a child’s birthday party, Amy wears black a lot, and she isn’t one to play by fashion rules. The post has 6.3K likes.

When 1000-lb Sisters premiered, Amy and her then-husband, Michael Halterman, were newlyweds who appeared to be perfect for each other. In July 2024, Amy’s sister, 43-year-old Amanda Halterman, posted a TikTok photo album that included a photo of Amy wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey while pushing little Gage on a swing. Losing weight changed Amy’s appearance, and it also changed the 1000-lb Sisters season 5 star’s entire life. After slimming down, Amy has been traveling more, and spending more time outside being active with her boys. In June 2020, Amanda posted a TikTok of a fun day at the fair.

In the clip, Amy, Glenn and Gage feed animals at a petting zoo. The usually “dolled up” Amy kept it casual in a pair of shorts and a tanktop.
