Goosebumps season 2 is on the way, though the newly-announced season will see major changes. The 2023 Goosebumps reboot amalgamates many of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps novels and focuses them all on the town of Port Lawrence. Among plots focusing on books like Say Cheese and Die!, Got Eat Worms!, and The Cuckoo Clock of Doom is an overarching story that sees horror veteran Justin Long’s Mr. Bratt, an overwhelmed English teacher, possessed by the vengeful spirit of dead teenager Harold Biddle.
While the 2023 Goosebumps reboot wasn’t an instant ratings-topping success for Disney, it has received generally favorable reviews and has gone over well both with fans of R.L. Stine’s books and the general Disney+ and Hulu subscriber base. The cast of relative newcomers playing Lucas, James, Isabella, Isaiah, and Margot have won over audiences, and questions around Goosebumps season 2 are already being asked of, and answered by, the creative team behind Disney’s reboot.

Goosebumps Season 2 Story
A Mystery From 1994 Links To The Present-Day
Along with the announcement that Goosebumps season 2 would be an anthology also came the reveal of the synopsis for its upcoming episodes. The new season will follow teen siblings who, after discovering some strange threat within their home, accidentally set themselves on the trail of a compelling mystery involving five missing teens from the 1990s. It’s unclear what R.L. Stine books the series will draw inspiration from next, though there were plenty of classics that weren’t touched in the first season of Goosebumps.
