Shawn Levy, who recently directed Deadpool & Wolverine, shares an exciting tease about his upcoming Star Wars film. After the conclusion of the sequel trilogy in 2019, several new Star Wars movies have been put into development with various filmmakers attached. Levy’s was announced in 2022, and the most tangible update about the project arrived earlier this year when it was announced that frequent collaborator Jonathan Tropper would pen the script.
During a recent interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Levy is asked about the status of his Star Wars movie.
While the filmmaker doesn’t reveal anything concrete about the movie’s setting or story, he does tease that the script is being written with specific actors in mind. Check out Levy’s comment below:
“Wow! You’re asking the right questions. Sort of, yes. Please don’t ask a follow-up!”
