Despicable Me 4‘s Rotten Tomatoes score has arrived, and it falls below its box office rival. After three successful previous installments, Gru’s (Steve Carell) saga is set to continue with the upcoming sequel from directors Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage. Despicable Me 4‘s story is set to follow Gru and his family as they deal not only with new rival Maxime Le Mal, but also the arrival of the mischievous Gru Jr.
Despicable Me 4 has now debuted on Rotten Tomatoes to 63% with 35 reviews. This score could fluctuate as more reviews are added, but, as of writing, the film’s score is relatively in line with other recent installments in the franchise. It’s far below the film’s biggest box office rival, Inside Out 2, however, which currently has a strong 90% score.
