  1. The current strategy is no longer relevant. If you made your marketing strategies in the early 2000’s,  the chances are that all of the goals and methods you once chose to rely on are irrelevant now. That means that you will be using marketing tactics that are outdated and useless. You – ideally – should have been looking at your strategies as the years moved forward. If you haven’t, then the time is now to check whether your marketing strategy is still in date. 
  2. Your audience is changing. It’s not just about your strategy but your audience, too. If your audience is looking for fresh and organic content, then you need to make sure that you are offering that. Your audience and their needs are going to evolve with the world around them, which means that you need to consider whether your marketing strategy matches their new tastes. 
  3. You have all of the ideas but nothing concrete. If you don’t have the right social media and marketing tactics, you’re going to lose all of the places that your ideas could go. You need to have ideas in place for your marketing but more than that, you need a plan to make them come to fruition. If that’s the case for you, then the best thing that you can do is update all of your content to make it valid for your business today. You need to have a content plan that spans all of your website and social media spaces.
  5. You don’t have enough of a budget. If you’re not allocating enough budget right now to your marketing plans, then the time is now to start doing that. You need to have money to make your business grow and when you pump that money into your marketing strategy, you’re going to manage to grow your business in the best possible way
