The Inside Out 2 box office opened with a bang with a domestic debut of $154.2 million, which was the best opening weekend since Barbie debuted in July 2023.
Per Deadline, the Inside Out 2 box office has climbed past the half-billion mark in the domestic marketplace. This news has come shortly after the movie passed $1 billion worldwide. As of Friday morning, its cumulative domestic total is $503.6 million going into the Fourth of July holiday weekend, during which it will likely continue to draw audiences despite competition from the new release animated hit Despicable Me 4, which is also a sequel from a prominent franchise.
