A Song Of Fire & Lightning

When it comes to the best of your Metaphor: ReFantazio party members with combos that can more easily beat Sea Horror Homo Sabara, you should take the protagonist with a Wizard Archetype and Hulkenberg with a second Wizard. Then, as for the remainder of your party, take Heismay with the Assassin Archetype and Junah with the Masked Dancer.

Have at least two party members inherit group healing and ailment-curing skills through inheritance as well. Homo Sabara’s Ink Spew attack can inflict Malady.

While being resistant to Sea Horror Homo Sabara’s Ice-type attack, your two Wizards can both learn Kandera to inflict medium magic Electric damage, which the boss is weak against. Having Masked Dancer and another Wizard at the party will allow you to use the Gakandera and Kandeon Synthesis skills, both inflicting medium electric damage to all enemies and heavy electric damage to one enemy, respectively. Masked Dancer is also resistant to the boss’ Ice-type attack, so this will give your team an extra advantage against one of its attacks.

Electrocute The Kraken

The start of the Sea Horror Homo Sabara boss fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio

To beat Sea Horror Homo Sabara in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you need to use your pair of Wizard Archetypes to target its weakness to Electric-type magic attacks. Having a weakness makes it a bit easier to strategize against it than learning how to beat Zorba, who does not have one. Focus your Electric attacks on Synthesis skills to target Homo Sabara on its tentacles. Meanwhile, have Heismay’s Assassin use Lurking Nightblade to lower its Hit/Evasion stats. Junah’s Masked Dancer can use Hellfire Dance to weaken it to Fire.

Using Electric and Fire to hit its weakness and generate extra Turn icons depletes its health until it loses about half. Afterward, it will try to use Soul Scream to gain more Turn Icons itself and fight back, so you should keep piling on the pressure with more uses of Electric and Fire magic, another with the Wizard Electric-type Synthesis skills to finish it off. Just remember to target Sea Horror Homo Sabara’s weakness to Electric-type magic attacks, and victory in this sea-based Metaphor: ReFantazio boss battle will be yours for the taking.
