Actor: Born at Waitakere Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, KJ Apa is half Samoan and half European New Zealander. Before he dipped his feet in the world of acting, he attended King’s College in Auckland. Apa made his acting debut in Shortland Street, in which he played Kane Jenkins for 46 episodes. His breakthrough came in 2016 when he was cast as Archie Andrews in CW’s Riverdale. Character: In One Fast Move, KJ Apa portrays the main character, Wes Neal, who was abandoned by his father at a young age. Since Wes’ best childhood memory was of his father’s love for bikes and racing, he spends his days racing on the streets. However, one of these races eventually leads to his arrest. With what follows, Neal decides to finally meet his father to learn more about him, hoping to understand why he abandoned him and his mother. This encounter not only helps him realize his true potential as a bike racer but also helps him empathize with his father.
