What To Know About Accused (& Which Episodes Rank The Highest?)

Hailing from FOX Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, Accused is able to stream on Hulu. It cd focuses on a new set of characters with each episode. Telling topical human stories of crime and punishment, the anthology typically unfolds from the perspective of the defendant via flashbacks. There is, at times, as well, a twist that’s revealed late in the runtime. Adapted from a BAFTA winning BBC anthology, the series was created by Jimmy McGovern. Accused season 1 incorporates stories of how far a father would go for his family and depicts what it’s like to live with a disability in a standout episode.

In terms of the highest-ranking episodes to sample, per IMDb’s ratings, the premiere featuring The Shield actor Michael Chiklis comes in first. In it, a successful brain surgeon with a seemingly perfect family pushes up against the limits of unconditional love and faces the consequences. That’s followed by “Jiro’s Story”, which examines what happens when a loved one is being abused in a new home. Coming in third is “Morgan’s Story”, about a teacher that’s arrested under suspicious circumstances. Fourth is “Robyn’s Story”, about an affair gone wrong between a drag performer and a closeted man.

Accused season 2 has already added Orange Is The New Black‘s Taylor Schilling, in addition to William H. Macy and Danny Pino. If the format proves successful for another run, especially with the addition of a popular Suits actor, it’s safe to bet the defendant-focused anthology might run for at least a few more years.
