The Witcher star Liam Hemsworth has revealed the planned production window for season 5. The Netflix fantasy show is adapted from the Polish novel series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski, which has previously been adapted into a popular video game franchise. Liam Hemsworth will be replacing Henry Cavill in the lead role as Geralt of Rivia as of the upcoming The Witcher season 4, which will be followed by season 5, the show’s final season. The rest of the ensemble cast remains the same, including Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, alongside newcomers including Laurence Fishburne and Sharlto Copley.




During a recent interview on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, Liam Hemsworth was asked if he would be returning to Australia once he was done shooting The Witcher season 4. In addition to answering in the affirmative, he offered a clearer view of the show’s production shedule, revealing that season four was going to be shooting for about three more weeks, and then we break for about four months” before returning to shoot season 5, which will take about eight months.
