The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon producer Greg Nicotero has revealed more of what to expect from variant zombies in season 2 while speaking at San Diego Comic-Con. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 will continue the story of Daryl’s journey through France, also adding Carol to the mix as she travels overseas in search of her lost friend. The show is also expected to continue featuring variant zombies, which were revealed to have been made by the Pouvoir in season 1.
Screen Rant was on the ground at the Daryl Dixon panel during San Diego Comic-Con, where Nicotero revealed what to expect from zombie variants in season 2. The producer explained how the variants in season 2 are inspired by the South Korean film Train to Busan, hinting at more fast versions of the undead in upcoming episodes.
