What is Landa?
Before we get into the Landa real estate reviews and ratings, let’s discuss exactly what Landa is. Landa is transforming the traditional landscape of real estate investment, making it accessible to a wider audience. Co-founded by Yishai Cohen and Amit Assaraf, Landa breaks down the barriers that once limited real estate investment to those with deep pockets or insider knowledge.
At the heart of Landa’s mission is the belief that investing in real estate shouldn’t be exclusive. This innovative app offers a way for users to gain fractional ownership in rental properties, allowing for the accumulation of rental income and the growth of a diverse property portfolio without the usual complications and hurdles.
By welcoming non-accredited investors, Landa significantly broadens the pool of potential investors, democratizing access to real estate opportunities that were previously out of reach for many.
Landa Real Estate Reviews And Rating
Looking at Landa real estate reviews and ratings from actual users is one way to assess whether the platform is right for you. Overall, Landa scores quite well on the Apple App store with an average rating of 4.6/5 from almost 6,000 reviewers. Reviews on the Google Play store aren’t quite so positive, with an average rating of 3.7/5 from over 6,100 reviewers.
This discrepancy points to the Android version being a bit buggy compared to its Apple counterpart. Let’s dive into some of, what I consider, the most telling Landa reviews and ratings.

I have to say installing the app. Adding bank info to the app. Has all worked flawlessly. Invested in a few properties, but my main focus was the new lend feature. Purchased 25 shares of lend. Your money is locked up for 1 year, so think of it as a 12 month cd. Would like to see a better breakdown of where that money is invested, says in the app that currently there are 3 mortgages, but on what properties. Would be nice if the address was listed so I could invest in those houses as well.

The user interface can be slow and glitchy at times, but the benefits far outweigh the problems. Landa gives its users raw unadulterated opportunities for buying real estate. Users pay the exact purchase price of the property and are able to earn monthly payments from rent, and build mortgage equity at the same time. If you ask me, Landa is leveling the playing field for regular Joes in the real estate market. Landa users have so much control over their investment compared to similar REIT apps.

Seem like a great concept with a good variety of properties to invest in, however when entering my address it says it’s unable to recieve mail and refusing to complete my sign up with my address. Update: The customer support reached out to me and fixed the issue with not recognizing my address all within a 2 day period!!
Negative Landa Real Estate Reviews
Now that you have read some positive user reviews, let’s get into some of the negative reviews and potential causes for them:

I love the app design and the financial data break down. What I don’t like are the bugs. If I Click on the account value card then scroll down to my properties and click on it. It opens a blank white screen. You have to close the app and restart it. Financial apps should be bug free. They don’t have to be great but it makes me skeptical about investing with you guys. Edit: They fixed the issue.
This review is from the Google play store. As noted previously, the Android version of Landa is still working out some minor bugs. It seems, from this review and other Landa user ratings I have read, that Landa is working these issues out and improving by the day.

App getting better still loads very slow. Also if we could see more pictures of the property instead of just 5. like the whole house, different rooms, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms. Technically we are owners so seeing the whole property in its entirety is the most logical step in buying any home. Ive been reluctant to purchase some shares because of this reason. Price to knowledge isnt there. Thank you for taking the time to read my review! Great strides in the app we appreciate it as shareholder
This negative Landa review makes a valid point that I read in a few other reviews. As of now, certain properties on the Landa platform lack enough images or information for some investors’ preferences. I’m sure this is an issue Landa is aware of and will improve on moving forward.
