Reality Steve Reveals The Golden Bachelorette Joan’s Top Four Men
Mark Anderson Didn’t Receive A Hometown Date
In an Instagram post, Reality Steve updated his original spoilers, which had revealed the four men Joan chose for her hometown dates, but Mark wasn’t one of them. Interestingly, Joan had the traditional four hometown dates while Gerry only had three during The Golden Bachelor. This could be because Joan began with 24 men, while Gerry started with 22 women.

One Golden Bachelorette Contestant Self-Eliminated
He Wasn’t In Love With Joan
After Joan’s overnight Fantasy Suite dates, Guy and Chock were her final two men. Pascal self-eliminated because he wasn’t in love with her. Joan was left feeling hopeless and worried that she might leave The Golden Bachelorette alone. However, she was wrong.
Who Won The Golden Bachelorette?
Chock Chapple Is Joan Vassos’ Final Choice
Although Reality Steve originally reported that Joan left the show in a relationship with Guy, he’s since corrected that mistake. He’s now revealed that Joan is currently in a relationship with Chock. At first, Reality Steve reported that he didn’t know if they got engaged or not. Based on Joan’s past comments about getting engaged and married during The Golden Bachelorette, it wouldn’t have been surprising if she didn’t. The Golden Bachelor couple, Gerry and Theresa Nist, got engaged at the end of their season, and jumped right into marriage. However, they ended up announcing their divorce just three months after their Golden Wedding, shocking Bachelor Nation and causing immense backlash.

I Believe The Golden Bachelorette Will Save The Franchise (Joan Vassos Knew Exactly What She Wanted)
The Bachelor franchise has faced extreme backlash because of its failures in the past few years, but Joan Vassos will change all of that.
In an interview with CNN, Joan revealed that she wasn’t sure if she’d get engaged during The Golden Bachelorette because she thinks that people need time to get to know each other, instead of rushing into a proposal. She explained, “If it ends up in engagement, I’m open to that. I do believe this process works. I’ve seen it work for so many couples on The Bachelor, so I believe in the process.” Joan added, “If it ends up in engagement, that’s great. If it ends up in, you and I are going to get to know each other better in the outside world, that’s perfect also.”
Joan explained that it wasn’t just Gerry and Theresa’s divorce that would stop her from getting married right away even if she did get engaged. She said, “I probably won’t rush into a marriage right away – and not only because of what happened with Gerry and Theresa. I think it takes some time to really get to know somebody. Out in the wild, in the real world, you need to spend some time there.” Joan’s comments show how level-headed and rational she is, which will help her to make the right decisions on her Golden Bachelorette journey.
Who Is The Golden Bachelorette’s Chock Chapple?
Chock Seems Like A Perfect Match For Joan
During Chock’s Golden Bachelorette limousine entrance, he brought Joan some chicken soup that he’d made for her to taste because he knew that she also had a delicious recipe. Later, they bonded about their children and their dogs, including Chock’s black Lab named Super Tubbs. Like Joan, Chock has been through tragedy. His fiancée, Kathy, passed away due to brain cancer in 2022.
Chock is an insurance executive. According to Chock’s two LinkedIn pages, since January 2020, he’s been the president of Insurance Services Group, LLC. From 2004-2020, he was the owner of CIG Insurance. He was also a senior vice president at IMA Financial Group from 1986-2004. Chock graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 with degrees in Business Administration and Labor Relations.
Chock’s ABC bio states that he loves adventure, and he’s hoping to find a woman who does the same. He even once went nighttime shark diving in Australia. Chock’s hobbies include exercising and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs. His guilty pleasure is shopping, and he simply can’t resist a good sale. Also, he says that he hopes to see Chevy Camaros with T-tops make a comeback in the future. In addition, Chock calls himself a grill master.
Does Joan Vassos Get Engaged To Chock Chapple?
Joan & Chock Are Still Together
According to Reality Steve, Joan and Chock “definitely” got engaged at the end of The Golden Bachelorette. Reality Steve also revealed that Joan and Chock are still together after the show. This is a shocking development, considering that Joan spoke about how getting engaged wasn’t necessarily her end goal. It’s a testament to how much in love Joan and Chock really are.
Chock has been all-in on Joan throughout The Golden Bachelorette, as seen through the first magical one-on-one date in Disneyland, his return after losing his mom, his successful hometown date, and their romantic Fantasy Suite date. He’s repeatedly told her that he’s crazy about her, and he even said that he was falling in love with her. It’s great to hear that Joan felt the same way.

“Maybe Chock’s Too Good To Be True”: The Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos Is Aware Of Chock’s Red Flags
The Golden Bachelorette contestant Chock Chapple has leading lady Joan Vassos wondering if he’s too good to be true. She’s not blinded by love.
Reality Steve also shared that he doesn’t know what Joan and Chock’s living plans are because she lives in Maryland, and he resides in Kansas. Reality Steve was unsure if Chock was moving to Maryland because Joan has said that she won’t leave her family. He speculated that viewers will find out during the “After the Final Rose” episode. Joan has said that she imagined that perhaps she and her final choice would split their time between their two homes before deciding on a place to live.
Hopefully, Joan and Chock won’t jump into marriage like Gerry and Theresa did. Joan’s right that they need time to get to know each other in the real world, especially after the whirlwind of the show. Joan seems to have a good head on her shoulders, and a logical plan in mind, so it seems as though she won’t repeat the mistakes of past Bachelor Nation couples. It would be absolutely shocking if Joan got married to Chock as quickly as Gerry and Theresa tied the knot.
It’s wonderful to know that Joan found love at the end of her Golden Bachelorette journey. Her first attempt at her second chance at finding love was cut short when she had to leave The Golden Bachelor. Her selflessness was evident as she returned home to attend to her family, so she deserved another opportunity to search for her true love. She’s a beautiful person, both inside and out, and it’s heartwarming to know that she found what she was looking for. Joan was the perfect choice for the first-ever Golden Bachelorette, and, hopefully, she and Chock will live happily ever after.
