Although there are several reasons Rebel Ridge received such great reviews, Pierre’s performance as Terrence Richmond definitely contributed to why the movie was such a success. Pierre actually wasn’t the first actor who was tapped to play Richmond in the film. The role was actually supposed to go to John Boyega. While it’s impossible to ascertain how Boyega would have done, there’s no denying that Pierre’s performance as Richmond in the film perfectly captured the character’s calm but intense demeanor.
