Cardi B has welcomed her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
The 33-year-old rap star, who is now a mom of four, quietly gave birth to a baby boy last week with NFL star Diggs by her side, according to TMZ.
Bardi announced her latest bundle of joy on Instagram on Thursday (November 13), writing: “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it!
“I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
She added: “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right. There’s nothing thats gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time!
“I’ve learned i’ve healed, and im loving the woman i’ve become! Thats what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever.”
Diggs previously revealed the sex of the baby during a red carpet interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, saying: “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me. I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
Cardi B shares three children — daughters Kulture and Blossom and son Wave — with her estranged husband Offset, with whom she’s currently embroiled in a messy divorce.
The Bronx native filed for divorce for a second time in July 2024, just months before she gave birth to their third child.
Their split has been anything but amicable, with both artists airing their grievances with each other on social media and in their music.
Just a few weeks ago, Offset seemingly took aim at Cardi on his song “No Sweat,” rapping: “How the fuck you leave Jordan for Rodman? / You a fool if you think that I’m hurt / You ain’t happy, I know how it work / How you married and still givin’ birth? / Get some help, bitch, you goin’ berserk.”
Bardi began dating Stefon Diggs, who has two children from previous relationships, in early 2025. The couple announced their pregnancy in September in an interview with CBS Mornings.
“I’m excited, I’m happy! I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” Cardi told Gayle King, referencing the rollout campaign for her long-awaited album Am I the Drama?
“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re in, like, the same space in our careers. I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do, and me and him think the same way.”
