Crypto Isle, Kanoo Pays, and Draper University just launched the Kanoo Innovation Hub in The Bahamas. – Silicon Caribe

Crypto Isle, Kanoo Pays, and Draper University have formed a partnership to launch Kanoo Innovation Hub, a startup accelerator focused on Blockchain, Web3 and Crypto sectors.

Kanoo Innovation Hub, is on a mission to find, fund, and foster innovative Caribbean founders, developers, and corporations that create next-gen solutions. The Hub takes Caribbean Startups from the seed round to exit.

Led by Nicholas Rees Chairman and Co-founder of Kanoo Pays and Davinia Bain, Co-founder of Crypto Isle, The Kanoo Innovation Hub has a 3 pronged Caribbean Accelerator approach. It starts with an entry-level Startup Innovation Program with a US$490*, a four-week long Pre-Acceleration that costs US$4,000, then a 5-week long Silicon Valley immersion program that costs USD$12,000.

Kanoo Pays (“Kanoo”), is considered the world’s first licensed payment institution to achieve integration, interoperability, and processing of secure Central Bank Digital Currency (“CBDC”) payments. Kanoo is said to be the Caribbean’s leading super app offering an integrated digital marketplace and digital wallet experience.

Crypto Isle, is a co-working space and community that’s been developing a thriving ecosystem for almost a year now, that’s for smart, efficient, and blockchain-infused businesses. Crypto Isle was also the in-person event partner for SiliconCaribe’s Future of Caribbean Money Conference last December.

Kanoo Innovation Hub joins what we’re calling the second wave of Caribbean Startup Accelerators that are industry focused.
