The easing of restrictions last year unveiled a backlog of tests and people keen to learn how to drive. It’s a great time to be a driving as the demand is so high that you can afford to charge more.  

You can be an instructor for a regular car licence in a van, as long as it weighs up to 35000kg.

To become a fleet driver trainer, it essential that you do a DVSA-approved course first. Once you pass, register as a fleet driver trainer within one year of completing the course. Your registration will last for four years.
