Mr. Williams was the owner of the A.J. Williams Insurance Agency in Taunton
In Boston, Albert J. Williams, age 82, passed away in Tuft’s Medical Center on March 26, 2022 following a lengthy illness. Albert leaves his beloved wife Diane (Perry) Williams of Taunton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Albert A. & Marie (LaCombe) Williams.
Al was a lifetime resident of Taunton and a graduate of Taunton High School. He was the owner of A.J. Williams Insurance Agency in Taunton and before that worked for John Hancock Insurance Company. Al loved the outdoors, he was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing, boating, and gardening. He found great joy in being the insurance man; he always was there to help a friend or even someone in need that he had just met. Above all Al cherished spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Diane, Albert leaves his children; Rosemarie Dumas and her husband Darren of North Middleboro, Timothy Williams and wife Kathleen of Plymouth and Amber Fully of Taunton, his siblings; Shirley McCracken of Riverside, RI, Ruth Murray of Clinton, NY and the late Paul Williams, Richard Murray and Blanche Vinacco, his loving grandchildren; Eliza Dumas, Emelia Dumas, Owen Williams, Aidan Williams and Tristan Fully and also several nieces and nephews.
