Altitude Trampoline Park, a leading active indoor entertainment franchise, energetically bounded into this year on the heels of a momentous 2021, as the brand signed multiple development deals and opened seven new parks to spark fresh growth.
Altitude’s rise atop the competition can be attributed to its award-winning leadership, which drove new value to the franchise opportunity through refreshed park equipment, attractions and concessions. Among the innovations was Altitude’s membership program, which was introduced to the franchise system in 2019. In 2021, the program steered double-digit sales increases at many participating parks, earning one multi-unit operator based in Florida the title of “Franchisee of the Year” from the International Franchise Association (IFA).
“It is an incredible honor to be recognized by the IFA, and I am happy to share the spotlight with our team. Since Altitude Kissimmee opened, we’ve shown incredible drive to provide best-in-class service for our community and to uphold the values and vision of the Altitude Trampoline Park brand. Our collective efforts are what brought us to where we are today and we are grateful for what we have achieved,” said Grady Hinchman, who operates Altitude locations in Kissimmee and Sanford, Florida.
Hinchman has achieved high-flying results despite pandemic-induced challenges by taking full advantage of Altitude’s recently launched membership program, and his Kissimmee location recently signed up over 17,000 members.
Behind the program is Altitude’s recently elevated president, Amy Phillips. With 20-plus years of experience in marketing, brand activation and operations with well-known entertainment brands including Dave & Buster’s World Headquarters, Main Event Entertainment and Drive Shack, Phillips’ work has resulted in company changing initiatives such as the brand’s partnership with the American Heart Association. Her dedication to providing best-in-class guest experience earned her the title of “Marketer of the Year” from the American Marketing Association in 2012.
“Amy has already made a significant impact on the brand’s results in her time as CMO, and I look forward to the results she will continue to drive as our president”, said Mike Rotondo, who joined the company as CEO in late 2019 to architect the Altitude Trampoline Park growth initiative. “With her at the forefront of our strategic growth plans, we will only further solidify our status as the leading indoor entertainment concept for active family fun now and in the years to come.”
Under Rotondo’s leadership, along with VP of Development Robert Morris, Altitude has proved a preferred conversion option for parks re-opening as they rebound from pandemic-induced pressures. He recently joined the ranks of a premier group of leaders as a Georgia Titan 100, a program which recognizes 100 of the most accomplished CEOs and C-level executives in Georgia and the Greater Atlanta area who demonstrate exceptional leadership, vision and passion.
“Our leadership team is simply unmatched in the entertainment park franchising segment and we’re ready to take the brand to the next level,” said Rotondo. “We’ve put countless hours into reinforcing our position as a dominant player in our space and have set Altitude Trampoline Park on a course that will keep us out ahead for years to come.”
