Raekwon and Havoc have announced they are going on tour together to celebrate the 30th anniversaries of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and The Infamous.
The New York legends will trek around North America this November and December in honor of the two seminal Hip Hop classics.
The tour begins on November 13 in Oregon and runs until December 15 with the final date coming in Miami Beach.
The two Hip Hop legends will play 19 dates in total.
Raekwon said in a statement: “Me and Havoc from Mobb will be pure hip-hop at its finest. This is gonna take rap shows to the next level — guaranteed.”
Havoc added: “Fans can expect nothing less than pure, raw, unfiltered energy on stage. I’m excited to celebrate these two legendary albums — the world doesn’t exist to me without that purple tape in it. This will be a tour the fans will never forget.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale today (August 13).
Earlier this year, The Alchemist confirmed that he was working on a new Mobb Deep album with Havoc.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club, he said: “They did so much work, it was insane. You could just peel back layers in Prodigy’s rhymes. He was ahead of his time.”
He added: “Their discography is unmatched. P’s legend lives. He did more than the average person while he was here, and he even left behind a lot of stuff so we’re lucky enough to be working on a new Mobb Deep project.”
Alchemist continued: “It’s me and Hav are doing the beats. Nas is involved. It feels great just to hear his voice again. We missed it. It’s a void not hearing his voice anymore.”
While the longtime Mobb Deep collaborator did not reveal more than that, Havoc has previously teased a new project, despite Prodigy’s death in 2017.
“I’m at ALC studios. New Mobb Deep coming soon,” he said in a video shared online last summer. “R.I.P. Prodigy. You see Al in the background. You already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon, baby. Infinite!”
The Alchemist later fueled excitement even more by sharing a snippet of the new material that they were working on.
“And it begins….. @mobbdeephavoc @prodigymobbdeep,” he captioned the clip.
