BloodHound Q50, a rapper who made waves in Chicago’s drill scene, was fatally shot down at a gas station on Sunday (September 13). While the case is still under investigation, the details that have emerged are chilling and family members are allegedly vowing revenge.
BloodHound Q50, real name Mikquale Cooper, was at a Fuller Park BP gas station just south of the downtown area of Chicago, according to a report from CWB Chicago.
Cooper was sitting in a 2019 Tesla around 4 AM local time when two cars pulled up at the station on either side of Cooper’s vehicle, with armed individuals hopping out the vehicle and unloading more than 50 shots before driving off.
The Chicago Police Department said that their forces are on the lookout for a Black Acura sedan and a silver Honda Accord sedan. The shooters largely wore all-Black clothing and obscured their faces.
Reports have gone wide that BloodHound Q50’s mother, Machetta Dudley, has allegedly vowed revenge on her son’s killers by way of a social media post that appears to have been scrubbed online.
“LET ME MAKE THIS MF CLEAR…SOMEBODY MOMMA GONE BE CRYING LIKE ME OBD…Y’ALL WANNA TROLL I’M GONE TROLL ALOT OF YOU B*TCH ASS N*GGAS FEARED MY SON AND NOW YOU GONE HAVE TO FEAR HIS MOTHER HE NOT HERE TO TELL ME DON’T DO THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA,” read the message, which appeared to be public on Facebook.
We examined Dudley’s page, where she acknowledges that Cooper is her son, but did not see this reported message.
Hours after Cooper’s slaying, reports of a shooting in Humboldt Park reported seven people were shot, leaving one dead with some online speculating that Dudley, or someone affiliated with Cooper, carried out the alleged revenge shooting.
Fans online are saying that a rival of Cooper, YFG Fatso, also a rapper, took to Instagram and shared what was alleged to be messages celebrating the shooting. We tried to scour YFG Fatso’s page, but it has been fully deleted.
On social media, video of the BloodHound Q50’s death have since gone viral. We will not post that footage but we do have some reactions from X where the situation is currently trending.
Cooper was 22.
