Nicki Minaj’s shift towards President Donald Trump and all things MAGA completely blindsided many, to the point that some observers thought it was all one long con. During a new interview, Nicki Minaj reaffirmed her connection with President Trump and doubled down on the love fest.
As reported by USA Today, Nicki Minaj sat down with Laura Ingraham for the host’s The Ingraham Angle program alongside SBA Administration Kelly Loeffler to talk about the finer points of the Million-Dollar Pitch Competition on September 18.
“I am honored to be able to have an opportunity to work with this administration and to work with President Trump,” Minaj said to Ingraham. “He has inspired many people, not just me, and he’s fun. He’s not just smart and he’s just not the president, but he’s also just someone that I can relate to.”
Minaj gushed further about Trump, adding, “I just love him. I’m not going to ever make excuses for that.”
During the chat. Nicki Minaj spoke about her music career briefly, stating that she hopes to hit the road soon. It isn’t known if the Trinidadian-American star has a new project on the way.
