Tonya Fairley, Founder of MoneyUnmuted

Nationwide — Tonya Fairley, Founder and CEO of MoneyUnmuted Inc., proudly announces its official approval as a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, marking a transformational step toward its mission to empower underserved communities, single parents, churches, and aging populations through financial literacy taught through a tax and wealth-building lens.

Tonya, who is an international speaker, tax professional, author, and leadership coach, says that MoneyUnmuted is more than education it is a movement. Rooted in resilience, powered by lived experience, and driven by faith and strategy, MoneyUnmuted is determined to dismantle generational misconceptions about taxes, money management, business formation, and financial systems that have long been hidden behind closed doors.

“Money has been whispered about, misunderstood, and mismanaged in our communities,” says Tonya. “We are unmuting the conversations that build wealth not just income. We believe access to knowledge is a right, not a privilege.”

A Mission With Impact, Identity, and Intention

MoneyUnmuted delivers workshops, financial readiness coaching, youth and senior programs, and church-based partnership trainings that teach:

• Tax strategies for W-2 earners and aspiring entrepreneurs
• Understanding deductions, exemptions, and credits
• Business foundation and compliance
• Financial trauma, mindset, and rebuilding
• Pathways to legacy – wills, trusts, and generational wealth

MoneyUnmuted is built on the principle that education is power, but implementation is transformation.

Rooted in Community, Led With Excellence

Tonya Fairley’s story represents what MoneyUnmuted is built for those who refused to quit despite the odds. From foster youth and homelessness to CEO, author, and nonprofit founder, her journey is proof that access, mentorship, and opportunity change trajectories.

MoneyUnmuted’s leadership team brings over 30 years of combined corporate training, tax strategy experience, and community outreach, positioning the organization as a trusted resource for cities, faith-based communities, workforce development programs, and school systems.

A Call to Donors, Partners, and Purpose-Driven Leaders

With 501(c)(3) certification secured, MoneyUnmuted is now accepting:

• Corporate Sponsorships & Strategic Partnerships
• Community Grant Support
• Faith-Based & Educational Collaborations
• Individual Donors Committed to Economic Equity

“Your giving doesn’t just fund a program,” Fairley adds. “It funds possibility. It funds generational change. It funds the financial literacy our communities deserved decades ago.”
