Drake is set to partially cover the funeral costs of French streamer, Jean Pormanove, after his sudden death.

The 46-year-old popular streamer was on day 10 of a streaming marathon when he passed away in his sleep.

In response, Adin Ross has said he and Drake will cover the costs of the funeral for Pormanove.

He wrote on X: “This is horrible and disgusting Whoever was apart of this deserves to face severe consequences. I just spoke with drake. Drake and I will be covering the funeral costs , this won’t bring his life back, it’s the least we can do. Prayers go out to Jean’s family.”

It has not yet been revealed what caused Pormanove’s death.

On the music front, Drake is expected to drop his next album Iceman later this year.

According to former NFL quarterback, Johnny Manziel, he claimed he had the inside track on when the album was coming out.

He said: “Soon, probably, around the end of October, maybe early November. Birthday coming up. Coming back to Texas after that, I’m going to take him to a game this year. He’s going to Aggie Land.”

Drake has yet to reveal a release date for Iceman but has already released two singles from the project.

The most recent of which failed to make any real dent on the Billboard charts that Drake has ruled over for the last 15 years.

“Which One?” is a collaboration with British rapper Central Cee but it has failed to cause a stir among fans as it has been unable to crack the top 20, debuting at number 23.

The song was initially tracking for a top 10 debut but the track lost momentum on streaming leading to his worst charting official single release since 2017’s “Signs”.

The lead single from the album “What Did I Miss?” has also fallen outside the top 30 after just four weeks on the chart after its debut at number two.

Drake recently spoke during a tour stop in the Netherlands where he claimed that he was a good person.

He said to the sold out crowd: “I didn’t get here by being a piece of shit, I didn’t get here by being a snake, I didn’t get here by being a dickhead. I got here by being good to people, being nice to people, and my karma is straight. That’s why I’m still on stage in 2025.”
