The story of the scammer who purported himself to be a San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver is all the rage on social media right now. As BOSSIP previously reported, the flagrant Wide Deceiver Daejon Love has made himself into the laughingstock of the week, and the jokes, receipts, and carrying-on don’t appear to be stopping anytime soon.
According to Heavy.com, a legit NFL coach has even gotten in on the action. A real San Francisco 49ers’ passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach named Leonard Hankerson posted a photo carousel to Instagram with a sneaky troll joke that absolutely none of his followers missed. Hankerson posted a photo of himself standing with his former Miami Hurricanes teammate Sean Spence and the caption: “From CO MVPs back in 2010 to impacting on another level”
The comments are teeming with laughing emojis and continued mockery of Love’s audacious attempt to pass himself off as a world-class athlete. Legit sports figures like ESPN’s Christine Williamson, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, and former Baltimore Ravens’ wideout Torrey Smith can all be seen having fun with the ridiculousness of it all.
Coach Hankerson wasn’t the only person having a good ol’ time with the scammy situation. A social media user named Krissy (@kristeenw on Instagram) actually recognized Love because at one point, he attempted to pull her into his web of deceit, and unlike him, she had the receipts to back up her claims!
In a now-very-viral post, she exposed the old Snapchat videos that Love sent her bragging about his money, his business deals, his education, his family, his background, the foreign languages he speaks, and other shenanigans that never existed. He was so unnecessarily detailed that it is obvious that these were all lies. And while you might get a laugh out of it, his mendacity is actually terrifying. Peep how easily this man was able to tell these fraudulent stories about himself with such confidence.
The subject of Daejon’s exploits got so heated that Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco had to address them on an episode of their hit podcast Nightcap.

Hopefully the court finds him guilty of everything he’s accused of because the levels of deception are egregious. This type of behavior has to be met with severe consequences so that he and anyone else thinking of pulling these moves thinks twice about defrauding people of their hard-earned money.
