JAŸ-Z made his return to Paris a memorable one, bringing out Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams during a sold-out JAŸ-Z 30 show at Stade de France.

As per Billboard Magazine Hov took over the massive stadium on Thursday (Sept. 10), marking his first performance at the venue since 2018. The Brooklyn legend opened the evening with “On To The Next One” before digging deep into his catalog with records including “Big Pimpin,” “Izzo,” “U Don’t Know,” “Dead Presidents,” “99 Problems” and “Hard Knock Life.”

The surprises started midway through the set when Pharrell joined JAŸ-Z onstage for a run through some of the records that helped define their decades-long chemistry. The pair performed “Excuse Me Miss,” “La La La (Excuse Me Again),” “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),” “Frontin’” and “Allure.”

Later in the evening, Justin Timberlake emerged alongside Hov for “Holy Grail,” their 2013 collaboration from Magna Carta Holy Grail. JT then moved over to the piano for a performance of his own “Until The End Of Time.”

The guest list was almost as stacked as the stage. Jack Dorsey, Damson Idris, Kerry Washington, Kelly Rowland, DJ Khaled, Michelle Williams, Michael Rubin, Jazmine Sullivan, Yo Gotti, Black Coffee and Lance Gross were among those in attendance, along with Paris Saint-Germain stars Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez.

JAŸ-Z also turned the concert into something of a fashion show, cycling through multiple looks that included two bespoke designs from longtime stylist and creative collaborator June Ambrose, along with a Louis Vuitton jersey and pants.

The Paris show is the latest stop in JAŸ-Z 30, the ongoing celebration of three decades of Hov’s career. His set stretched across eras, touching everything from “Can I Live” and “Where I’m From” to “Run This Town,” “Family Feud” and “No Church In The Wild.” And considering where the show took place, “N*ggas In Paris” naturally made the cut before JAŸ-Z closed things out with “Empire State Of Mind” and “Encore.”

Hov’s next stadium takeover is scheduled for Oct. 23, when JAŸ-Z 30 heads to Los Angeles for a show at SoFi Stadium. You can see him perform with Pharrell below.
