Gizelle Bryant isn’t letting a little Green-Eyed Bandit backlash spoil her Potomac pot-stirring. The Real Housewives of Potomac veteran is embracing Robyn Dixon’s calls for accountability while making it clear she won’t retire her reasonably shady ways anytime soon.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Gizelle, 56, said being best friends with Robyn, 47, doesn’t mean they avoid hard conversations.
“Robyn and I always hold each other accountable and we [always] have,” she said. “They haven’t necessarily shown it in the past. It’s like now they’re finally showing it, which is great. Well, great for Robyn, I guess.”
During Sunday’s episode, Robyn called out Gizelle for her behavior, alleging that she wasn’t being a good friend to fellow housewife Tia Glover.
Before fans start predicting a feud between two OGs of the franchise, Gizelle suggested it may not be as serious as it looks.
“Robyn should hold me accountable,” she told Us Weekly. “Someone should. I mean, I’m not mad at it.”
This season is special for Gizelle because she gets to film with both Robyn and Karen, 63, again. She said Karen is “back sharing her true self more so than before,” and that having the group together has brought back the fun.
“We know each other. We know how to have fun. We know how to poke each other a little bit, and it’s the best,” she said.
Gizelle Bryant Takes Her Messy Talents To The Traitors
Gizelle is also heading into a new chapter outside of Potomac.

As previously reported, she is part of the cast of Season 6 of Peacock’s The Traitors, and while she stayed quiet about how long she lasted, she admitted she wasn’t supposed to tell anyone she was filming. She did give Robyn a heads up, since the two record their Reasonably Shady podcast together.
“She volunteered her advice,” Gizelle said.
As for whether the competition was harder than she expected, she said, “It’s long days, and I didn’t know how long. Actually, yes, it was harder than I expected. It’s hard, but it’s a wonderful experience.”
She added that a group chat with the cast is already active and that she most recently texted her Traitors castmates Johnny Sibilly and Joey Graziadei.
Gizelle was equally candid during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, where she was asked if she has ever watched herself on TV and realized she was the villain in someone else’s story.
“All the time,” she said. “But I actually do know it. I do know it in the moment.” She explained that she tries to keep perspective about what she’s doing. “I think what we realize is we are making a show, and this is entertaining, and you can’t get caught up in the personal of it,” she said, “even though we’re discussing personal things.”
She said audience reaction to her has shifted over the years.
“In the beginning it was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so dramatic, and people are so messy, and Gizelle is horrible,’” she recalled. “Now I think they appreciate my messiness. They’re looking forward to my mess. So I like that.”
More on the flip!
On The Real Housewives of Potomac, Gizelle has also found herself in the middle of a storyline involving cast member Tia Glover and allegations about her husband’s activity on dating apps.
She said she received screenshots by direct message but wanted to verify them before bringing them to anyone’s attention.
“People send us stuff all the time, and I just don’t want to throw stuff on camera because I know what that means,” she explained. “We got to live it. We got to talk about it. Then it airs, then we got to talk about it again.”
She said she went to Ashley Darby to confirm the screenshots were legitimate, and someone else eventually told Tia, leaving Gizelle facing criticism for not going to her directly.
“I actually like Tia,” she said. She also noted that she’s been “accused of hating men, hating relationships” and of trying to “break up people’s marriages,” and knew she’d face backlash either way.
Some of that backlash popped off in Sunday’s episode when Gizelle tried to call out Tia for telling Wendy that she called her a scammer, only for Tia to turn the tables and blast her for gossiping about her hubby being on a dating site.
“I feel that’s very rich coming from you,” said Tia. “It’s amazing because you of all people, know what I’m going through with my circumstances, and you’ve given me such sound advice and support. Imagine my surprise when Ashley tells me that you took it to your podcast.
[…]
As long as you can get a check, anybody’s paying anybody’s family, that is, who you’re getting for your success. And that kind of friendship, my dear, I don’t want it.”
Bloop!
Luckily, Gizelle embraces her “villain” role on Potomac–because she clearly won’t be losing that title anytime soon.
What do YOU think about Gizelle Bryant’s ways? Are they reasonably shady or unreasonably out of order?
