Lil Baby had a gator guarding the sticks this week. The Atlanta rapper became the first to play the Xbox Series X-BITE, a working console built into an alligator replica.
As spotted on Complex, Baby shared photos and footage of himself playing the custom Xbox on Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 4). The gator stretches more than five feet from snout to tail. A wireless controller with bite marks rests in its jaws, and a glowing Xbox logo peeks out from the Series X tucked in its belly.
Xbox took its cues from Florida wildlife and enlisted John Nolan Studio to build the gator. The creature effects shop has worked on Jurassic World Dominion and The Witcher. Good luck fitting this one on the TV stand. The gaming session was part of the rollout for FRESH, Baby’s fifth studio album, which dropped today (Friday, Nov. 6). The 17-track project brings Future, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez together on “All My Partnas.” It also includes “Dead Fresh,” the Pharrell Williams-produced single Baby debuted at Louis Vuitton’s menswear show in Paris in June. He marked release day with a video for “Mr. Do Something,” which takes him back through his old Atlanta neighborhood.
Xbox is giving away the one-of-a-kind console. To enter, follow @Xbox on X, Instagram, or TikTok, repost the designated sweepstakes announcement from a public account, and manually add #XbiteSweepstakes. Entries close Tuesday (Nov. 10) at 11:59 p.m. PT.
