AGGIE PRIDE!

One thing about those North Carolina A&T State University Aggies, they’re going to show ALLL the way out at their famed Greatest Homecoming On Earth which commemorated its 100th year at the largest HBCU in the nation and #1 producer of degrees awarded to Black students in North Carolina.
Founded in 1891 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College for the Colored Race in Raleigh, N.C, the public doctoral research university is known for its strong STEM programs, Blue & Gold Marching Machine, and soul-stirring AGGIE PRIDE.
“Our responsibility as a public, land-grant HBCU is to bring academic excellence and opportunity together,” said Chancellor James R. Martin II in a statement.
“These results reflect progress across the university, particularly in high-demand disciplines that are vital to our state and nation. And they come at a critical moment for higher education nationally as we all seek to underscore our value and importance to the economic success of America.”
“Our task now at A&T is to build on our progress in ways that continue to strengthen the education our students receive and the contributions they make after graduation.”
Located in the heart of Greensboro, N.C., the #1 ranked public HBCU in the nation (U.S. News & World Report) recently became the first HBCU to enroll more than 15,000 students as one of the state’s most affordable universities.
Notable alums include Jesse Jackson, iconic NASA Astronaut Ron McNair, Detroit Lions Executive VP/General Manager Brad Holmes, and more, with Terrence J being honored as the Grand Marshal of this year’s Homecoming parade.
