Drake delivers on his promise, dropping the deluxe version of his album, HABIBTI.
Back in May, The Boy shocked everyone by dropping not one, but three albums in one night. Drizzy gave his fans ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR, and HABIBTI.
All three projects were received well by 6 God fans, but the two that really stood out in both impact and first-week sales were ICEMAN and HABIBTI.
ICEMAN moved 463,000 units, while HABIBTI sold 114,000 in its first week, dominating the month of May in Hip-Hop.
Fast forward to October, and we now have the deluxe version of HABIBTI. Drake used his short film, FOMO, to tease some of the new songs coming to the deluxe. Some of the biggest snippets to go viral were “Solar Eclipse” featuring Don Toliver and “Quebec.”
We have good news for Drake fans, both records made the deluxe. No need to keep ripping them off YouTube anymore, they’re officially here.
Drake added a total of four new songs to the album. Here are our early takeaways from Drake’s HABIBTI (FOMO) Deluxe below.
