30 AI Industry Leaders to Deliver a Week of Online Sessions to Empower Communities Through AI Education
Nationwide — Stefan Youngblood, CEO and Founder of Black AI Think Tank™, is proud to announce the second annual National Black AI Literacy Week, scheduled for June 9–13, 2025. This event will be a virtual experience open to the public, featuring over 30 renowned AI professionals, innovators, and educators delivering workshops, seminars, and panel discussions across five days from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST.
Designed to increase access to artificial intelligence knowledge and tools, this initiative invites participants from all backgrounds—whether just starting or advancing their AI journey—to engage, learn, and lead.
“National Black AI Literacy Week isn’t just about tech skills. It’s about agency,” said Youngblood. “We’re not waiting to be included in the AI revolution—we’re building the blueprint. From owning our data to creating our tools, we’re shaping a future where equity is engineered.”
Youngblood also expressed gratitude for GammaApp’s generous support again this year, stating, “A special thank you to Grant Lee, Founder of GammaApp for their support. Their commitment helps us expand opportunities and deepen the impact of our work in communities that need it most.”
Last year’s event with weekly meetings drew thousands of participants and caught the attention of billionaire entrepreneur Robert F. Smith, who publicly reshared the initiative on LinkedIn. Building on this momentum, the Think Tank is launching a new online platform: the National AI Literacy Center, available at NationalAILiteracy.com, dedicated to advancing accessible and diverse AI education.
What to Expect
Participants can choose from sessions tailored to:
• Beginners exploring AI fundamentals
• Educators integrating AI into their curricula
• Sessions with Gamma team
• Entrepreneurs and community leaders learning new AI tools
This year’s highlights include sessions on AI agents and the revolutionary technique of “Vibe Coding”—where users describe an idea and watch AI generate a full app or website in real-time.
“Knowledge is an asset with lifelong returns,” said Beverly Davis, Founder of Davis Financial Services. “The Black AI Think Tank is a vital resource. I’m inspired by the depth of experience and the opportunity to participate and grow—no matter your level.”
“Protections are being rolled back, and systems are moving fast,” added Kate Carter, Doctoral Candidate in AI and Healthcare Equity and AI Program Manager for the City of Tucson. “National Black AI Literacy Week is where we come to learn and lead together. When you invest in your voice and growth, you rise.”
