Peacock is ready to send another batch of famous faces into the Scottish Highlands, and judging by this lineup, the roundtable is about to get messy, and we’re here for it!
The hit show has officially announced the celebrity cast for Season 6 of its Emmy Award-winning competition series “The Traitors,” with 23 reality stars, actors, athletes and pop culture personalities preparing to lie, scheme and hopefully survive Alan Cumming’s castle when the show returns in 2027.
Of course, Cumming will be back to steer the madness with his signature wit, fabulous wardrobe and perfectly timed side eye while also serving as an executive producer.
If you have somehow avoided The Traitors and have absolutely no idea what everyone is obsessing over, here is the easiest way to explain it. Imagine a murder mystery dinner party inside a gorgeous Scottish castle mixed with the Mafia card game you probably played growing up. Some contestants are secretly selected as Traitors while the remaining Faithfuls must figure out who is lying before they are “murdered” or banished from the game.
Basically, trust nobody.
Peacock’s newly announced cast includes Bianca Del Rio from RuPaul’s Drag Race, content creator Boman Martinez-Reid, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport, actress Casey Wilson, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, singer Cody Simpson, and Southern Charm star Craig Conover.
Bravo fans will also see some familiar faces with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey and The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant entering the castle.
The rest of the lineup includes Dominic Monaghan, Emira D’Spain, Iain Stirling, Jag Bains, JaNa Craig, Joey Graziadei, Johnny Sibilly, Kristin Chenoweth, Michele Fitzgerald, Q Burdette, Rachel Robinson, former NFL star Rashad Jennings, Taylor Hale and Whitney Leavitt.
One thing we know for sure is that you can almost always count on a Housewife and a Survivor star entering the castle, and now it looks like “Love Island” alumni may be becoming part of the annual recipe too.
The new season announcement also comes during another big year for Cumming and the franchise. The actor recently earned his third consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program, while The Traitors also won Outstanding Reality Competition Program for the third straight year.
While accepting the show’s award, Cumming said,
“Thank you to the Academy so much, especially thank you last week for all the love you showed us at the Creative Arts Emmys,” he continued. “It really means a lot, and is really inspiring us to do better and to go bigger.”
Peacock has already renewed The Traitors for three additional seasons, meaning the betrayals, banishments and questionable roundtable accusations are not ending anytime soon.
For viewers who cannot wait until 2027, NBC’s The Traitors: New Blood recently debuted with 22 everyday Americans getting their chance to become Faithfuls and Traitors. New episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock.
