In a recent moment this week on social media that is now deleted, Wale expressed measurable disdain in connection with his time in the music industry, prompting passionate replies.
On Monday (September 28), Wale, 42, shared the following on social media:

Im sorry . I really apologize to ppl who pray and truly care about me … I genuinely believe u can’t be in this industry for more than a few years and have a proper lense on life .
Your friends be dying left an right . You desperately wanna stay creative . U wanna take care of ur ppl . The new ‘friends’ u make not ur friends at all…cuz this is a rat race on a hamster wheel. U wake up to praise and criticism … but it’s always more criticism. Unstable . So many ppl care and I can’t even embrace it sometimes cuz I’m in a perpetual state of uncertainty and skepticism.
In the written lament of feeling worn out by the industry, the words from Ralph Folarin seem like some of his past posts that some fans and outsiders have determined to be negative diatribes.
It should be noted that Wale is beloved by many, as evidenced by the outpouring of acclaim for his eighth studio album, everything is a lot. However, the veteran DMV rapper has a right to air out his frustrations.
After deleting the post, Folarin got back into his confident bag and shared that he’s working on some new music.
