Joey Bada$$ Claims ‘Infinite’ Is His Favorite Eminem Album

Joey Bada$$ has claimed that his favorite Eminem album is Infinite.

The rap legend’s independently released debut came out in November 1996 and has only ever been released on cassette and vinyl.

Speaking on Shade45, a radio station owned by Em, the New Yorker made it clear his favorite was Infinite.

He said: “That one had me in the clutch when I was coming out, at 17-18.”

Joey also praised The Slim Shady LP: “Those are my favourite bodies of work from Em. Shout out to Em. That’s a GOAT. That’s a Rap God right there. Salute. I’ve never met him”.

Eminem recently dropped a previously unreleased track titled “Everybody’s Looking At Me”.

Produced by Dr. Dre, the first verse of the track is from a 2002 Funkmaster Flex freestyle with Em later expanding it into a full song.

An early version also featured a guest verse from Proof but that is absent from the version on the soundtrack.

It can be assumed that “Everybody’s Looking At Me” was originally recorded for The Eminem Show given a snippet of the song can be heard on “The Kiss (Skit)”.

On the track, Em makes reference to his iconic performance at the Grammys alongside Elton John when the two dueted on “Stan”.

He raps: “Oh God, he’s on stage with Elton John! He’s got a motherfucking pink GLAAD T-Shirt on, huggin’ a homosexual flippin’ the cameras off / But at the Grammys? Thought Slim hated the Grammys / No, I said, ‘You think I give a damn about a Grammy?’ / You never answered me.”

Speaking at the premiere for Stans which documents both Eminem’s career and the oft-obsessive nature of his fans, Em paid tribute to those who have supported him over the years.

Making an unannounced showing at the premiere in New York, Em said: “Let me tell you why this shit is crazy to me. Because, when I was writing the song ‘Stan,’ I think I was just understanding the impact that my music was having on some people. And it’s so crazy to me to look at, over my career, just the fact that I was able to impact people.”

He added: “I love you too. I’m trying to think of what the fuck I’m saying here… When I was writing this song I didn’t understand the impact my music was having on people at the time and it was really surreal to me, and it’s still surreal to this day to look out here and see all you and the fact that my music has inspired you. This film is a thank you to all of you for sticking by me for this whole fucking time.”
