SwingTradeBot now includes a Stock Market Calendar that brings earnings, IPOs, economic reports, Fed events, and market holidays together in one place. Even better, you can take that schedule with you by exporting or subscribing to .ics calendar feeds and viewing everything in your personal calendar.

calendar month view

One of the biggest challenges for active traders is simply keeping track of what’s coming up. Earnings dates, CPI reports, Fed meetings, IPOs — these events can move stocks and the overall market, but they’re often scattered across multiple websites and calendars. The new Stock Market Calendar is designed to solve that problem by putting those key dates into a single, filterable view.

You can browse the calendar directly on SwingTradeBot, narrow it down to the events you care about, and then either download an .ics file for a one-time import or subscribe to a live calendar feed that stays up to date automatically.

What the Stock Market Calendar includes

The calendar currently tracks several types of market-moving events:
  • Earnings dates so you can prepare for upcoming reports.
  • Recent and upcoming IPOs in the same calendar view.
  • Economic releases and Fed events that can move the overall market.
  • Market holidays so you can quickly spot shortened or closed sessions.
  • Month, week, and day views so you can browse the calendar the way you prefer.
  • My Lists filtering so signed-in users can limit stock-specific events to names from their own watchlists and portfolios.
This makes it easier to plan ahead and avoid surprises like holding a position into earnings without realizing it, or missing a major economic report that could affect the entire market.

Download a calendar file for a one-time import

If you want to bring your filtered market calendar into another app once, each saved calendar subscription includes a downloadable .ics file. This is useful if you want to import a snapshot of your calendar into Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google Calendar, or another calendar client that supports the iCalendar format.
The download option is separate from the live feed, so you can keep both choices available: a one-time file export and a reusable subscription URL.

Subscribe with a live private calendar feed

calendar subscriptions page

If you want the calendar to stay up to date automatically, you can create a saved calendar subscription and use its private feed URL in your calendar app. Once added, your calendar app will periodically refresh the feed and pull in changes as SwingTradeBot updates the calendar.

This makes it easy to keep key market dates in the same place as the rest of your schedule, whether you are tracking earnings season, watching the economic calendar, or keeping an eye on upcoming IPOs.

What you can filter

You can create subscriptions that include any combination of:
  • Earnings (All symbols, or just stocks from your watchlists and portfolios)
  • IPOs
  • Economic events
  • Fed events
  • Holidays
For example, you could create:
  • An Earnings Only calendar for stocks on your watchlist
  • A Macro Events calendar for economic reports and Fed meetings
  • An IPO Calendar
  • A Portfolio Earnings Calendar so you never get surprised by a report date

Designed for privacy and control

Each subscription uses a private feed URL rather than a public page. If you ever want to stop using an old link, you can regenerate it and the previous URL will stop working. Subscriptions can also be renamed, deactivated, or deleted from the management screen.

Calendar subscriptions are available to paying subscribers.

How to use it

  1. Open the Stock Market Calendar.
  2. Review events in month, week, or day view.
  3. Adjust filters to focus on the event types that matter to you.
  4. Optional: Create a saved calendar subscription and download the .ics file for a one-time import or copy the private feed URL into your calendar app for automatic updates.
If you like to keep your trading workflow in sync across devices, the new Stock Market Calendar gives you a simple way to put important market dates where you already look all day: your calendar.
