Rep. Jasmine Crockett is hearing it online after honoring Chris Brown and Usher at their Texas stadium tour stop.
The outgoing Texas Congresswoman took the stage Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington during the Chris Brown and Usher joint R&B Tour, joined by State Rep. Venton Jones and producer Roccstar, to help bestow the surprise honor on the musicians.
Telling the crowd she “couldn’t miss this night,” Crockett recognized Brown and Usher for their decades-long contributions to music and announced she wanted their impact documented in the Congressional Record.
Crockett even used the moment to take a swipe at the Trump Administration as well.

And, naturally, Jasmine couldn’t resist sneaking a little politics into the party … joking there are “a few scammers up in D.C.” before telling the hometown crowd they had a “real one” standing right there in Dallas.
Breezy clearly appreciated the love … pulling Crockett in for a hug before thanking the crowd and telling Dallas he rocks with them “for real.”
Jasmine Crockett Is Getting Slammed On Social Media
While Team Breezy is loving the moment, others are not so much, especially those who still have not forgotten or forgiven Brown for his abhorrent behavior towards Black women, and are expressing their disappointment in Crockett for celebrating him.
“700,000 Black women have become unemployed since the start of Trump 2. Women are being attacked legislatively with the loss of reproductive rights, education access, and more. And Jasmine Crockett made time to glorify an abuser of women who JUST settled a case for letting a dog mangle his employees,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another post read, “The only thing that should be recognized is that he’s a woman beating piece of shit. How disappointing that Jasmine Crockett would willingly do this bullshit.”
Damn.
Jasmine Crockett doesn’t make many mistakes, but she definitely didn’t read the room with this move.
