Kodak Black has fans concerned after footage surfaced of him appearing to collapse during a Halloween concert in Tampa.
As spotted on HotNewHipHop, the Florida rapper was performing at Nightmare on Channelside, the Halloween event held October 31 at Benchmark International Arena. Meek Mill and DaBaby were also on the bill, with Kodak’s appearance becoming a talking point after video of the moment began circulating online.
The clip shows Kodak going down onstage and making several abrupt movements as people nearby approach him. He eventually gets back to his feet. According to Baller Alert, Kodak was also seen laughing and dancing afterward as audience members cheered.
AllHipHop.com reported that his set lasted roughly 15 minutes. His five-song performance included “Versatile,” “Skrilla,” “ZEZE,” “Roll in Peace” and “Skrt.” The footage has also drawn skepticism, with some viewers questioning whether the moment was genuine, as HypeFresh reported. VICE also reported that longer footage suggested his set was being interrupted before the incident; that account remains unconfirmed.
As of the available reports, neither Kodak’s representatives nor the venue had publicly explained what happened. There has been no confirmation of a medical emergency or that the moment was staged. Kodak has previously spoken publicly about his struggles with substance use. In June 2024, he addressed his past Percocet use during a Los Angeles performance and expressed regret about a line in “Super Gremlin.” According to AllHipHop.com’s reporting at the time, he warned fans against treating his lyrics as encouragement to use drugs. Those earlier remarks do not establish any connection between substance use and the Tampa incident.
For now, fans are waiting for a clearer explanation of what happened during the show. You can see footage from Kodak Black’s Halloween performance below.
