Megan Thee Stallion is giving the Hotties something to scream about. The Houston rapper has unveiled a creepy new trailer ahead of her Hottieween celebration in Las Vegas.
As spotted on Billboard, the black-and-white visual arrived Wednesday (Oct. 28) and puts Megan at the center of a nightmarish circus. Appearing as a towering giantess, the Hot Girl Coach gives her larger-than-life persona a horror twist. Billboard likened the clip’s atmosphere to American Horror Story and the surreal worlds of filmmaker Tim Burton.
The Hotties also helped bring the concept to life. Megan solicited ideas through a horror-themed Facebook group, asking fans to submit unsettling footage and weigh in on animal masks for her spooky circus. “I want to build some creepy animal masks for my spooky circus…what animals would be the freakiest?” she asked. They incorporated their suggestions into the finished trailer, giving her fan base a role in the scares.
The visual sets the mood for this year’s Hottieween party, taking place Friday (Oct. 30) at Zouk Nightclub inside Resorts World Las Vegas. Megan is teaming up with Cirque du Soleil for the circus-themed celebration, and her Chicas Divertidas tequila will also be part of the festivities. “Thee circus is coming, and the ringleader is a bad b*tch,” she wrote when announcing the event earlier this month.
According to Resorts World, the party runs from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and is open to guests ages 21 and older. Costumes are mandatory, and the resort is teasing special guests and surprises throughout the night. Tickets and table reservations are available through Zouk, giving the Hotties a chance to take their Halloween looks from the group chat to the dance floor.
The celebration also comes with a charitable component. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation, which she established in honor of her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas. The organization supports women, children, older adults and underserved communities through programs focused on education, housing, health and wellness, and community goodwill.
Hottieween has also given Megan room to explore her love of horror on screen. In 2019, she starred in Megan Thee Stallion P.I. in Hottieween, a web series directed by Teyana Taylor and featuring Dave East. The project cast her as a private investigator in the fictional Stallion County, drawing on campy horror movies and Blaxploitation heroines. This year’s trailer brings that spooky streak into a whole new circus setting.
